What's the reason to inset the outside skids 6-8" from the floor edge? Is it for aesthetics? I would think you'd want the skid to sit under the front and back wall.

Leafing through the lean to shed plans and saw that a metal roof was recommended as the pitch is very low. The Home Depot selection of metal roofs indicate they want a minimum of 2 1/2 pitch which I think is almost 12degrees. The lean to plans have a 7deg sloped roof. Do I need to find a...
