Your shed plans only offer 3/12, 6/12, and 12/12 pitches for the truss constructions. Could I pick a custom pitch to build the truss? For instance, something between 6/12 and 12/12. Thank you!
You can build your own trusses by making a jig right on the wood floor. Follow the instructions in the plans as a guide line. Screw a simulated top plate on the edge of the floor and lay out your truss pieces to your desired slope. Overlap the 2x4's at the top and mark them and cut them to the correct angles and lengths by trial and error. Once you have the first truss figured and cut, use it as a template to cut and make the rest of them. It's a pretty easy process to customize your pitch using this method.
