Garden sheds vs storage sheds: what is the difference? I think there is a difference in 2 areas…
- Regional word usage
- Actual function of the shed
The term Garden Sheds is more popular in England. And in Australia because they have a heavy cultural influence from there.
As for actual function of the shed, the term storage shed is used when a shed is used for storing items. Where as garden sheds are used for tools and potting sheds. Gardening activities in general.
Basically they are the same thing, a shed. The difference is what the shed is used for, and regional language differences. Garden sheds is used in England and Australia. And for garden specific use. Everything else is a storage shed.
But I think garden sheds sounds more interesting. Don’t you think?
