FAQ: How Do You Build A Truss Jig If You Are Using A Concrete Floor?

Question:

In the truss building section you make a jig on the floor you just built. Do you have another recommended way of doing this if you are building on a concrete slab?

Answer:

You can build the truss jig on a blank wall. But you will need to be careful working on it so you don’t step through a piece of siding. Or you could temporarily secure a few pieces of OSB on the outside of the sheeting so you can walk on the wall without worrying about hurting it.
