5 Reasons Why You Should Not Try To Build Your Own Garden Storage Shed

Contrary to popular opinion not just anyone can build their own garden shed.

Here is a list of 5 reasons where you might be better off buying a ready build shed instead of trying to build your own…

  1. You are truly convinced that don’t have the skill to build your own shed. Building your own shed is not terribly difficult but some people just can’t work with their hands.
  2. Contrary to popular opinion not just anyone can build their own shed.
  3. You don’t have the tools, or can’t borrow or rent them. It requires several hundred dollars worth of hand and power tools to build a shed efficiently and the savings does not justify buying tools just for this project.
  4. You can’t get anyone to help you. Mostly the shed is a one person job but there are some parts like raising the walls that require a helper.
  5. Your time is too valuable. If you are a doctor or lawyer or have a really good job it might be cheaper to buy a shed than take the time to build your own.
  6. You are unhealthy and can’t physically do the work. It takes 2 to 4 days of sometimes heavy lifting and bending over and hard physical labor to build a shed. If you don’t think you can do it then you should not even try.

These are the main reasons that I can think of that would prevent you from building your own shed.

If none of these reasons don’t apply to you, then you are a good candidate for building your own shed. You can buy my $7.95 shed plans by instant download and get started this weekend.
